Diljit Dosanjh, known for his dynamic roles in Bollywood and impactful music, recently shattered the common misconceptions about Punjabis with his bold career moves and style. At a recent concert in Mumbai, which drew a large celebrity crowd, Diljit not only performed but also shared insights into his journey of breaking stereotypes.

In a video posted to Instagram, which featured moments from his concert, Diljit made a grand entrance and interacted warmly with his fans. Speaking in Punjabi, he addressed the stereotypes he has encountered: "They said Punjabis can't do fashion, and I said, I will show you. They said Punjabis can't act in films, I showed them I could. They said Punjabis can't go to Mumbai, and I proved them wrong. They even said Punjabis can't sell tickets for a big arena, but I showed them a packed stadium at my concert."

He also announced his upcoming concert in Vancouver, set for the 27th of April at the BC Stadium, marking the next stop on his "DIL-LUMINATI TOUR."

The Mumbai concert was a major event, attended by numerous Bollywood stars including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, Aparshakti Khurana, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia, all coming out to support Diljit.

On the acting front, Diljit has been earning praise for his role in the movie about Amar Singh Chamkila, a legendary Punjabi singer known for his controversial lyrics. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film explores the life and legacy of Chamkila. Diljit plays the lead role, with Parineeti Chopra as his wife, Amarjot.
