1/2 tsp rock salt

To prepare this beverage, you will need unpolished rice that is a minimum of 1 year old. Wash them well. Add to a large container in open without any lid or pressure. The ratio of rice is 1 part and the water 14 parts (1:14). Strain off the water once the rice is cooked well, the starchy water you get is rice water. Next, add sonth and rock salt to the rice water. Mix well. Next, melt ghee in a tadka pan and add cumin seeds in it, let them crackle. Once done, add in the starchy rice water and you will have fresh Ayurvedic Spiced Rice Water that offers several benefits. Make sure to consume it warm.
